small update

alrighty so for the past little while i've just been getting ready for school and seeing a couple of shows and spending as much time as i can with my boyfriend as i can..
so i saw footloose at the egytian last saturday and i'll be seeing it again tonight. now this was the footloose that i was in but dropped out of. and to be quite frank, the show was just ok. i'm glad i dropped it. pace was slow and energy was low. but it was nice to go to the show and afterward see all the cast and hear that they missed me. cuz that was one of my complaints being in the show was i didnt feel accepted. i'm sure a few of the people said that just to be nice, but i can tell when someone is being sincere. it was nice to feel loved. and it still had its strengths! my friends did well.
i also saw south pacific preview night and last night. its such a cute show! i mean i'm not a fan of the storyline and the dialogue but the music is beautiful and classic. and it was nice to go with bryson. he has the same view on the old musicals as i do. and we both agreed he'd be a good billis. yeah, random observance, my dad and bryson could play the same roles. its pretty funny! they have the same vocal talent, same amazing character work, and they both have cute pot bellies. the only difference is my dads 6'2 and bryson is like 5'7ish. but yeah..
speaking of bryson, on saturday he is moving to odgen and on monday he'll be attending weber state university studying theater and zoology. so i will be here as a lonely senior and he'll be there as a lonely freshman. i don't like thinking about saturday, but i have hope things will work out the way it should.
so as i mentioned, i'm a senior this year. i got my schedule the other day and today i went and got my senior picture. its a little surreal. i dont feel like a senior at all. i mean i'm super excited!, but its just so weird.. i really dont think that it'll sink in and i'll get used to it.. so so very bizarre..

well alrighty, even though i've only gotten one vote on my poll and theres a few more days left.. i'm just gonna go ahead and post the first part of my story! just for a small introduction on it, its a short story about moving on and finding ourself. its sad, sweet, and romantic. this beginning part of the story is the only really scary part of it, so when you read it and think, oh my gosh! this story is so sad and scary! its only that way at the very beginning. i'd love to have your comments and critiques!

oh and i'd like your help in picking a title for my short story! cuz i have no idea what to call it.. for the mean time, i'm just calling john mccoy story, thats the main character's name. so if you think of something good, i'd like to hear your suggestions!

two small random thoughts of the day

alrighty, two things on my mind today..

1. R.I.P. Bernie Mac. love that guy! so sad..

2. i've been watching the olympics and my new favorite thing to watch is the synchronized diving. have you watched it before?? its freakin amazing!! i mean how??..eh??..i just dont know how its possible!! its so cool!!

creativity..maybe

i've just been working and i love my job! next week i'm gonna be working four days a week! i won't know what to do with all that money..tehe! i'm so excited!!
so i'm somewhat of an artist and a writer. only somewhat. and i started sketching yesterday and i started painting it. im about halfway done, i'll have to take a picture or something when im done. and i got a story idea off it too! when i get to a good stopping point maybe i'll post it and get some critiques from you guys or something. so uh yeah.. thats about it. lol

i apologize for not writing the past few days. just i've been so busy. but now i have something to talk about!!

so we'll start with thursday. i got a haircut!! its a little off the shoulder! i love it! its a nice new change.

friday was my birthday! i am now 17!! woo!! i had a fun day with the girls! which was really refreshing since i usually hang out with boys..plus my very best friend tanya. but friday was nice cuz i with with the girls doing girly stuff i usually dont do! we spent a good deal of the day at the mall. i got a new outfit! yay! and then after we had pizza and coke and homemade shakes and watched the wedding singer! it was a fun day!

saturday was my first day of work at noodles! i really enjoy my job! im very proud to say i work there! its a great restaurant! and my job is so easy too! i just love it!

today is jessi's birthday! i adore my sister! always have! and today we went up to our aunt wendy's house for strawberry waffles and eggs. it was nice to see everyone! but i was just so tired..i had a long weekend! but its nice to have a full weekend with loved ones! i had a great birthday! thanks everyone!!
